Portable high-precision coordinate measuring arm

The TUBOSCAN C coordinate measuring arm combines highest precision and
reliability with a very compact and lightweight design. The device is available at
different versions, with measuring ranges of 1800 mm, 2400 mm. 3000 mm and
3600 mm.

For data recording and determination of the tube course the measuring arm can
be equipped with different contact probes (e.g. spherical probes or stylus tips)
or non-contact infrared tube measuring fork. Because of intelligent quick-change
probes it is not necessary to re-calibrate the measuring arm after changing the
probe. The new probe dimensions are automatically compensated, thus avoiding
any confusion of the probes.


The carbon graphite composite arms are very sturdy and insensitive for variations
of temperature. This means that the measuring arm can be used within the whole
common temperature range without any loss of accuracy.

A removable counterbalance compensates the arm weight and thereby allows
for antifatigue working at any orientation of the measuring arm - even above the
head.


The measuring data are continuously aquired and evaluated by the tube-specific
measuring software. They can be edited in tabular form, Excel, as drawing or in
CAD file format. Direct triggering of the tube bending machine is possible too.
